Imelda May
just one of the great entertainers lined up for this year's Summer Festival
Make the 15th & 16th August dates in your diary for Ilkey's big weekend of free music, picnicking and partying. It all takes place under a big top at the Riverside Gardens.
Imelda May is the latest sassy burlesque-inspired edition to the blues jazz-a-billy diva gene pool with an infectiously unique fusion of rockabilly, blues and jazz.
So far Imelda has appeared on 'Later' with Jools Holland, and shared a stage with Dionne Warwick, Diana Ross, Anastacia, Scissor Sisters, Elvis Costello and Elton (phew!)
Other bands throughout the day include "Juke Box Jive" and "Boogie up a Storm"
Entertainment from 1.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.
